The Askøy row-houses were another "re-interpretation" of Bryggen, (a very "popular theme" on the west coast of Norway of the UNESCO heritage harbor buildings).

The houses are in CLT (massivtre). Prefabrication allows a detailed design and better control and shorter time for the building process.
