As part of the Student Architectural Competition CASA, I have been invited to have a chat with the students from 3 architectural schools in Romania - Cluj Napoca, Timisoara and Iasi around the topic of sustainability, circular economy and materials.
Bellow is the link to the discussion, in romanian though (more as a monologue as the questions were sent live, but in written form on chat (I miss the times before Covid with live physical audiences!).
Also the students have asked for some refferences and books that might help them better understand the topics we have talked about, therefore I have took pictures of some of the books at hand that I consider important for the topic and the trasnformational change that our society needs towards a sustainable future. The list is far from exhaustive or hierarchical, but just based on proximity (I took the books at hand relevant to the topic, that I really enjoyed, on the closest book shelf:) They are stuctured in 3 categories :
